What's a Social Enterprise?

Date: Tuesday, 26 February 2019 19:30

Venue: The B-Bar, Barbican Theatre

Social Enterprises, like traditional businesses, aim to make a profit but it’s what they do with their profits that sets them apart – reinvesting or donating them to create positive social change.  Social enterprises are in our communities and on our high streets – from coffee shops and cinemas, to pubs and leisure centres, banks and bus companies. Come and hear Ed Whitelaw explain in more detail what Social Enterprises do and how they can benefit our communities.

Our events are free and open to all, although we do ask for a voluntary contribution to cover speaker's expenses.
